Everything carries a a particular frequency to it, including the foods we eat and the emotions we feel. I have learned I am the best version of myself when I make a conscious effort to raise the vibration I hold by changing the way I think, the way I live, and interact with other people. Today I wanted to share some things I have incorporated into my life that help me to live a more high-vibe life.
Journaling:
About two years ago I really started to realize the correlation of journaling and my happiness and since then I have started writing a lot more to get my thoughts down and I ended up really exploring the writing world as well as poetry. Within a year of growing this habit I realized how passionate I was about writing and that is where this blog came from which has helped me come to greater realizations determining what i want to with my future. Journaling is a great way to let go of past feelings that you hold onto which may be bringing your energy down and once these feelings are released life starts to feel a whole lot lighter.

I am affirmations:
For the past week or so I have been listening to 8-hour-long I am affirmation or meditation videos to listen to while drifting to sleep in order to tap into the subconscious mind and fill it with high vibrational thoughts. I have a projector that I plug into my computer and one tab is playing the affirmations or meditation while another displays a color-changing screen onto my wall which is very peaceful to fall asleep to. I started doing this because the mood you are in before you go to bed is going to carry into your energy the next morning and it is good to cleanse your mind every night and forgive your actions in order to be the best version of yourself tomorrow. The way I feel when I wake up is a lot more at peace than before and I am looking forward to the continuation of results over the next few weeks.
Practicing gratitude:
It is quite to change the the way you think and totally reprogram your mind, but once you start to peel off the layers society has but onto you and awaken from that mindset, the world really starts make sense again. The law of attraction taught me to catch myself when I had a negative thought and rephrase it with gratitude for what I have in order to reach the same vibration frequency as what I want to attract. Regarding gratitude, also make sure not to beat yourself up if you revert back to some old habits because that possesses negative energy so forgive yourself, you deserve it.
Meditation:
Honestly speaking, I do not meditate as often as I would like to but I have found some of my favorite places while doing so and it is really crazy what your mind can do when it is just silenced in on a moment. During meditation your vibrations are very high and this is one of the most important steps in raising your overall consciousness.

Reading:
I have been reading more, especially since the start of quarantine as I have a lot more free time. I particularly like to read nonfiction self help type books that teach me new ways to raise my own energy and I am currently reading "Material Girl, Mystical World" by Ruby Warrington which she describes as a guide to a high-vibe life and it inspired me to write this post. Now getting back into reading, I have forgotten how much you can learn by reading what another person writes and it really gives you new perspectives to explore.
Tarot/crystals:
Talking about all of these energy and vibrational topics make me feel just a little bit uncomfortable because my whole life I have been trained to think that people who say this type off stuff are crazy and think crystals have magical healing powers. I mean everyone is entitled to their own opinion but the whole energy thing is kind of science at this point and all the crystals and tarot cards allow for one to dig deeper into their own life and asses their feelings and it is less about the "magic powers" that fall into the sterotypes.

Doing things that genuinely make you happy:
The number one way to live a high-vibe life is to do what you enjoy doing despite what anyone else thinks as long as you are not hurting anyone. Spend some time outdoors or just dance around your room to music that you love in the middle of the night. Find the things that make your heart feel like a million exploding stars and implement them into your daily life.
I have come a long way from "the old me" and I do not like the way that sounds because I am the same person I just dusted off the ideologies laid on me and found who I was at heart. I also still have a long way to go and the subconscious changes I have gone through still leave an infinite amount of growth left to go. By writing this post, all I wanted was to share the tips that have seriously helped me find myself and that is all I could ever wish for somebody else as it is always my goal to inspire.
Thank you for reading this week's post where I broke down the simple joys in my life that come together to create something much more.
