Become Your Higher Self: Guided Meditation

“Hello souls. I welcome you all as souls because that is what we are above all else. We are souls before we are human just like we have instincts before we have thoughts. Our souls may individually differ, making each their own, but it is the one thing that connects us despite other barriers that I hope we shall not give meaning to.
In this meditation we are going to welcome peace, love, and light into our lives, but before getting into the exercise it is important to stretch our muscles, to allow our minds to further expand.
Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it- and feel the tingling sensation start to appear around your body, breathe out of your mouth with the intention that any pain or discomfort will be erased within the next few minutes. I want you to target any of those discomforts, whether it be a bent leg that can be straightened for more ease or a back pain that you cannot quite rid yourself. Visualize your body and highlight these points in a color of your choice. Breath in. Breath out. Breath in. Breath out. Keep doing this until you start to see the colored portion of your body fade into pastels then into a translucent mass until it is fully transparent as you notice your pain dissipate throughout this process, allowing for the utmost comfort in the following meditation.
Now that our bodies are comfortable, let's take a few minutes to scan down from head to toe. Imagine there is a glowing ring above your head about the size of your body sitting at your crown chakra. This ring is glowing bright and radiating calming energy. As you inhale… and then exhale… it starts to descend down and around your body creating a shield against any distractions that may try to permeate your focus during our time together. Allow any distractions to simply bounce off this shield and return to your meditative state. The curtain is lowered past your forehead. Now you can see a shadow pass over you eyes as it descends, leaving your sight as complete darkness besides your bright imagination. Your mouth muscles relax. And your throat is cleared. We are now approaching your shoulders which shall be relieved of all the weight they have been carrying around. Feel any knots in your upper back undo themselves. The shield stretches down the remainder of your torso and lower back, allowing for complete relaxation in these areas. Your legs become inclosed in this safe space and it feels so good to be lying here so still. Past your ankles lie your feet, they are so tired and start to tingle like they are getting a massage. The whole body is now glowing in what was once a ring around your head, but now the top and bottom of this cocoon close and you are finally able to fully relax.
Good things already do exist for you of course, take a moment to visit all of the things you are grateful for. And I want to remind you that any manifestations you might be trying to attract are already on their way as everything is yours in one reality or another. Do not fret or doubt your own power because your goals and desires already exist on your timeline so it is okay to let take a really deep breath building up all your anxiety and now breathe this all out and let go of them as they serve no positive outcome in your life.
I want you to go to your place in your mind. It can be a physical place you have been to on this earth, one belonging to your sacred imagination, or anything either between or outside of those lines….. Look around at the beauty surrounding you, what is in front of you? What is behind you? To the left? Right? Document these surroundings and cherish your time here. What does it sound like here? Take in all your senses: scent, taste, touch, sight. How does this place make you feel? You may feel warmth, gratitude, love, joy, a sense of belonging and being at home. Whatever you feel is natural and it is meant to be, so embrace these emotions and soak them in like a pocket of the sun’s rays that managed to break through the clouds.
Take another look around in this space made just for you and notice how bright the colors are. With the turn of your head returning to where you started, you notice a doorway where there was not one before. Describe what this door looks like to you, it could be a traditional six paneled entry, a grand garden gate, or ripple in the air portraying a portal. I invite you to walk over to this door and I want you to grasp your hand around the knob or place your hand on this door as if you were to push it open. Your hand acts as a connection between the unknown beyond the door and your current self. Feel the energy transfer through your body in a delicate surge. Beyond this door is your higher self, so take a moment to think about what you would like to get out of this experience of merging your physical body with your highest potential.
The light shines on your skin and you look down to watch it glimmer, in this moment you realize that your body looks different, the way you imagine it looking in your highest and healthiest form. Notice the clothes on this miraculous body of yours, how do they make you feel? Powerful? Confident? Strong? Beautiful? These adjectives are describing your emotions towards fueling your soul with what you like. Despite what your body looks like currently, or what your future self appears as, it is about feeling beautiful and feeling confident, so do not think this version of yourself has to be thin or has to be fit. Your highest self shows up in the form that is best for you so take a few moments to think about this appearance that best suits you and not what you think you should look like. It is important to focus more on the emotions that this appearance gives you.
Dwell on these positive emotions that the new version of you feels. Imagine a circulation of energy, in any color that resonates with you, around your heart. Take a deep breath in and notice the color becoming even more vibrant and on your breath out start to feel this circulating energy growing more powerful. Take another inhale and feel this energy spinning faster and faster in your heart’s center and watch as this color becomes richer and grows with each inhale and exhale. Breathe on your own for the next few minutes and continue imagining this powerful energy.
I am going to count down from ten and when I reach zero your heart will be at its highest vibration full of self love and the color of this energy has encapsulated your body fully around your aura.
Ten: Start to feel your heart tingle with this increase in energy
Nine: The sensations are growing
Eight: Feel it spread through your body
Seven:
SIx:
Five: You are almost there in your highest state
Four: Your Highest self is about to become your reality
Three: Your entire body is tingling and covered in your new aura
Two: The colors are deepening
One: You are one moment away from becoming the person you have always desired to be
Zero: Open your eyes. Look around your room or wherever you sat down to meditate with me today. You may notice any physical differences in these spaces or the clothes on your body, but remember back to the emotions you felt when first passing through the doorway to your higher self. Do you feel them now? Do you feel more certain in your life choices? Is the world just a little bit brighter? Are you happier with your identity?
After I end this guided meditation, I want you to continue to think about the new and improved mindset we worked on today and how you are showing up as your highest self from now on. Feel free to journal or just think freely.”
